MMY History of planned Mine resumptions Its been all over the place, as new drill results highlight yet another promising mining option.
These recent drill results aloing with the new 3D geological model identifying 60 new drillling targets in Burnakura and Gaby reminds me of a youngster going into a candy store, wide eyed at the choices of Candy and being unable to select what he wants.
Pit cutbacks were the first choice, with Yagahong being the favorite. Yogahong has high grade gold just beneath the floor and adjecent to the pit ,where rich gold copper veins are present.
2020 drilling has now extended the high grade mineralization another 300 m downplunge.
Surely a good place to start.
Then it was underground mining at NOA 2 which was replaced with underground mining at NOA7/8 where very high grade ore have been extended another 250 m below the current pit and remains open.
Along with that, you have the 4 southern pits showing extensive shallow gold outside the current pits and most probably underground as well.
Concomitant with these various mining options have been adding heap leach operations for low grade ore to instead increasing the milling capacity from 260,000 tpa to 500,000 tpa.
It seems now that they have decided on using NOA 7/8 portal to resume underground mining beneath that pit as the ore is very high grade asnd there is plenty of it.
I think..
