In my case, BMOIL entered the newly-issued AD.UN units with an ACB of $12.34 (different brokers use slightly different values I discovered). They will issue a T5008 in Feb./March showing the disposition of the AD shares at the $12.34 price. The T5008 form will also show the ACB of the "disposed" AD shares: if higher than $12.34, you will have a capital loss to report on your Schedule 3. Hopefully, your broker had recorded the correct ACB for your AD shares. If not, you can over-ride their figures by using the correct ACB; it is the taxpayer's responsibility to report correct values. Cheers!

I realize that there is a deemed disposition at around $12.39 . I am wondering to get some further validation to help with closing portfolio matters as 2020 draws to an end . My financial institution has not helped me with this to date .
What has happened with you ?
Thanks fellow shareholders !
iTrade seems to be showing no change to the book value on the change.......
Cheers
