giving a shot in the arm to the aviation industryI went looking for a site that has data about how far countries have gotten in vaccinating their populations so I can get a better idea as to when flights might return to pre-COVID levels, domestically and internationally, in countries around the world.
As a starting point, I found this site...
https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations I don't think there is much to report as yet, the data is thin. Hopefully this will fill out soon.
This is another site...
https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/covid-vaccine-tracker-global-distribution/ As reported today: "The biggest vaccination campaign in history has begun. More than 10.8 million doses in 29 countries have been administered, according to data collected by Bloomberg. Delivering billions more will be one of the greatest logistical challenges ever undertaken."
World population: 7,800 million.
Canada has vaccinated .26% of its population.
Canada 98,769 vaccinations, 0.26%, Jan. 01
Quebec - 29,250, 0.34%, Dec. 31
Ontario - 28,887, 0.20%, Jan. 01
British Columbia - 14,027, 0.28%, Dec. 30
Alberta - 11,102, 0.25%, Dec. 30
Saskatchewan - 3,458, 0.30%, Dec. 30
Manitoba - 3,400, 0.25%, Dec. 30
New Brunswick - 2,905, 0.37%, Dec. 28

If anyone is aware of a better or more comprehensive site, please post about it.
