RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Excelsior's Portfoliomferguson71. Thank you for the tips. Copper has had a great run--wish i'd participated.
I own two companies. Jaguar Mining (gold) has a profile similar to SCZ and is in better financial shape. No debt and production ramping up.
As we're all anonymous schmos with an opinion doing your own due diligence is essential but, that said, some endorsements are more meaningful than others.
Jaguar is 48% owned by Eric Sprott. Sprott recently did a highly publicized sale of his shares in Novo Resources which in 2017 he had funded to the tune of 56 million$.
Jaguar is the company he KEPT and, by way of an 8 cent per share quarterly dividend, is turning into his cash generator. Now THATS an endorsement.
I'm not into exploration companies presently because there you're relying on luck with the drill bit. Meanwhile there's a raging precious metals bull market underway which will reward actual producers so these days that's where I'm at.
I do look around for solid information and I'm happy to do my bit and pass on what i can--Excelsior is phenomenal.
One guy that does incredible analysis of mining explorers can be found on ceo.ca. He goes by the moniker DrJimJones. Check him out.
I'm excited for 2021. As i've said here before, my biggest fear is being shaken loose from my positions by extreme news events exterior to the markets or by market events themselves. I have a 1-4 year window. I'll put it this way, i don't plan on selling a single share in 2021.
Cheers.
