Will shorts cover now?

Will shorts cover now?So bitcoin just broke 34,000 USD. I was reading on ceo.ca that HIVE has something crazy like 100 million shorts now. Is that true? Will these shorts start covering quickly on monday given the strength of bitcoin? For anyone that's long HIVE I think it's gonna be a very interesting week ahead. Good luck.
