if a company looks good yet 'seems' priced too high I will simply take an insignificant small position just to be in the game
generally 15-20% of what I would deem a full position for that particular stock
my timing has always sucked and for years I lost out on some serious $$ waiting for the stock to come back to me
i am always happy to average up on a stock that I growing (and avg down on drawdowns)
also, I will never sell out completely of a growth position - I'll keep a residual 20% - just in case I am wrong to sell
my portfolio is littered with 5 baggers that are now 25 baggers.......Tsla shop xpel etc etc etc etc
