RT's Catharine Property vs Kerr Mine Cross-sections Check out this cross-sectional comparison of RT Mineral's Catharine-Link project and the past producing Kerr Mine (~11 million ounces over the life of the mine). The noteworth things for me were:
- Similar mineral composition and geological structure between mines.
- Both contain Mafic-Ultramafic Volcanics, Green Carbonate and Quartz Veining and are iintersected ~medially by major faults (Picaud Fault vs Kerr Fault)
- Both include gold bearing lenses above their respective faults, in the case of RT's Catharine property these lenses are closer to surface than those seen at the Kerr which could indicate a major gold bearing discovery close to surface.
Keep in mind that this Archean System at Catharine has not been drilled below 100 meters in the initial 7 hole program. Gold bearing Archean systems, like the Kerr mine, can go thousands of meters deep. I know management personally and I'm nibbling on more shares at these prices as I'm excited about what deeper drilling will uncover.
Its noteworthy that both the flow ore AND green carbonate were gold bearing at the Kerr Mine.
Dont forget that Gary Clark, RT's highly qualified independent qualified person, signed off on the companie's press release and the following quote from the well respected Donald M. Clark - the company president with 30+ years of success in the junior gold mining industry. "Large anomalous gold halos, with high grade intervals contained therein, as is observed at the Link-Catharine property, are similar to the past producing Kerr Addison Mine (“Kerr”) located about 25 km northeast of RTM’s Link-Catharine property."
