RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Be ready for more games 🎮 TAAT is not looking to dominate the tobacco industry. TAAT is looking to capture only a small portion of tobacco industry market share. Setti's initial objective is a $5B market cap.
The US sold approx 12.5B packs of smokes in 2018. If TAAT captured 1 out of 100 smokers (1%) this would be 125M packs and if sold at avg of $2.80 would generate $348M and at the most recent PMI P/E ratio of 16.8 would create a Market Cap of near $5.9B resulting in a SP of approx $63.
Certainly the foregoing has many variables and by making different assumptions the numbers will change accordingly. The point of the illustration is simply that TAAT has far more potential than a SP of $50 when you consider 55% of US smokers wish to quit the nicotine habit and we haven't even factored in the global market yet.
As a smoker myself I can assure you the tobacco industry can see what's coming but at a 1% market share for TAAT I don't think they are greatly concerned, maybe a bit irritated at losing 1% but otherwise not worth worrying about. If they are concerned then the only way they can stop TAAT is by initiating a buyout. That will not likely be a successful move for them until TAAT hits $5B market cap.
Cheers!
