RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Leonard Nemoy in 1979Hahah, I included south dakota as a comparative example of a region that doesn't impose lockdowns. Total state COVID-19 counts as of Dec. 6: - 85,991 total cases, 1,110 total deaths (128.4 per 100K, #9 highest in USA, meaning comparable to the other losers that fully locked down. Sorry, the data doesn't care about your feelings) I thought you'd be bright enough to know what was meant there, but clearly not. Why don't you look at the actual data you tool: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#cases_deathsper100klast7days

Canada (The country) has 412 deaths per 1 million people
Can you break that down using your own math skills?

Correlation does not prove causality, statistics 101. No studies cited again, of course, so great job, we will just go by your hunches. How about look at the research that shows there was no difference in how covid affected countries that locked down vs countries that did not. Uruguay is another example. South Dakota as well.

Then we opened up and numbers started to climb and we didn't lock down and implemented mask wearing and restrictions designed to keep numbers low. But the numbers didn't stay low they kept on climbing unchecked until we were in an even worse second wave than the first. I don't think it takes a genius scientist to see an obvious cause and effect relationship here. When the new lockdown is over we'll know it it worked a second time if there is a reduction in new infection numbers.

al gore was brought up because he was quoting the science of the day, just like you. The general consensus also says lockdowns are great, even though this goes against every epidemiological study ever made. Enjoy your lockdowns.
