Personally I don't think they know so much about PR.
They just focus on investors relation and this should only make 10% of the whole external communicaton. The other 90% should be focused on PR for brandmanagement and image building reasons and supporting their sales activieties (attracting new clients, not new investors).
Could wirte an essay about this, but this is not the right place for it. If they would ask me, I would help them out :)

Advertising the services in the paper/radi/television will be good for sales and the stock. They must have a promotional plan beyond a press release.
