The only comment I have is the author's comparsion of channel samples taken at Pardo compared to drill core from Great Bear. That is in no means comparing apples to oranges. The same pretext would be to compare grab samples to drill core. Great Bear's thicknesses are 80M thick whereas Pardo is 2-10M on average.
Just saying.
