Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Duvernay resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. The PRA is its original asset area. Its East Division is comprised of four regions: Central AB, West Sask, East Sask and Weyburn. Its Central Alberta region represents the bulk of its Cardium and liquids-rich Mannville assets.

RE:RE:wcp makes the top movers list - cheers!!I like you long-term investing strategy, if it does not work after a few days time to pull the plug, lol. After such a run up I think it is normal to have a period of consolidation. If you believe oil prices will run up over the course of 2021, say mid 50's than I think WCP has another run up. Meanwhile you can have collect the divy. At one time I owned 13,000 shares, 7,500 which I bought in mid-November at $2.50. I sold the 7,500 in December at $4.65. I left a little too early. On my remaining 5,500 shares I am slightly in the red. I think I will collect my divy and see if this has another 30% run left in it.
