You may want to do a search of other Canadian LP's to see which other CEO's decided to go to getting paid $10 bucks or so an hour (whatever QC pays for min wage)

Here's a link to an article that outlines a bit more on his wage.  If you would like the same level of compensation you can figure out how to kick off a multi-national Cannabis producer, figure out how to attract Fortune 500 companies like Molson-Coors and then beat out Canopy Growth on drinks sales....

Eazzy--peasy right ?   Should only justify min wages...

Taken From Article:

CEO Sebastien St. Louis’ compensation rose 26% to CA$11.2 million in 2020, even though his salary was “voluntarily reduced” to Quebec’s minimum wage for three pay periods in the second quarter, according to the filing.

Smokescreen wrote: Total compensation for the top executives at struggling marijuana producer Hexo Corp. grew almost 20% year-over-year to 14.4 million Canadian dollars ($11.1 million) in fiscal 2020, led by the companys CEO, according to a financial disclosure filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission last month.

lollll that s the best joke i ever heard.....yeh so what he can live the rest of his life
with 0 salary and have millions left over ,come on Q now that was ridiculous to say the least...sorry but  let s be honest to ourselves and others.
Now your the one who makes me wonder;)
we work all our lives and will not make a million dollars before taxes ,excuse me but
now i m more than not happy...umm lets see if i could find  the word...#$%##$%#!
Anybody want to object and correct me please go ahead !

Q4E,

With great risk comes great reward (or failure) and there are few and far between folks out there that would do what the CEO has done.

He scrapped together his initial investment from every source he could, including his mother-in-law, and started the business.  He went abroad and formed a partnership in Greece, secured the medical supply agreement with Israel and two Joint Ventures with Molson-Coors.  Honestly, do you think the average-joe who does none of that will ever have a hope in hell of making millions by going to work everyday while earning a fixed or hourly pay-check ?

If these guys didn't have the hope / expectation of being successful and making the big bucks then they would never form the companies that put everyone else to work.

We may not have the possibility of raising enough money and pulling in the experts to form a successful cannabis LP however we do have the option of puttng a few dollars into the shares and profiting a little from the success that the team of HEXO is carving out in the Cannabis sector.

The markets are a rough ride, if you can't handle it, get out and stay away, otherwise have a plan and some patience.

Q

Of course i know all that wasn t born yesterday . Success is mesured in different ways for different people ......so far its only a daytraders dream stock ......But such compensation before
we become profitable and make shareholder value interesting is  not a standard in ways of
doing things .Q you havn t been through what i been through with HEXO ......i won t say HELL
but not far from it if it exists.
So all that has been built so far is worth Millions in compensation and salary??... no way !!

,why did they have to mention such a thing????
who cares?? Should we all feel sorry?iIts quite insulting if you ask me!!!!!!!
If they said no salary for 1 year ok but this is of no value to shareholders !!!
