RE:Keep an eye on oceana

RE:Keep an eye on oceanaCouple of thoughts:
Oceanagold has been terribly managed and is one of the worst performing gold mining stocks of the past couple of years.
Last yearm they fired the CEO.
They lost a major mine in Phillipines that was about 1/3 of their production and about 1/2 of their profit.  Oceana is hanging on by a thread and continues to reorganize and expand credit facilities to stay afloat.

@ Haile Mine: The mine has been ravaged by a combination of bad weather, COVID-19 and managament issues  THey moved the mine manager, David Thomas out awhie back.  Problems got worse, they brought him back in and now have recently pushed him back out.  Thomas and his sister, Diane Thomas, were the original two that founded ROmarco Minerals that started the Hiale mine from nothing.  No matter what Oceana does, they can't seem to get it right.  There is currently a major COVID problem at the Hauile mine that is hampering production.

I don't see them being in the M&A business anytime soon.

I could definitely see PanCon partnering with a mid-tier mining company to further develop Brewer Mine, once drilling shows promising results.
