RE:Green Hydrogen
RE:Green Hydrogen The future of Green Hydrogen, like everything else, will depend on cost. Hydrolysis at a wind or solar farm is expensive. Storage and long distance transport of hydrogen is expensive and dangerous. Xebec with its acquisition of HyGEAR has the capability of producing on site green hydrogen with a short transport across the street to the filling station or industrial user. It is fed by RNG in existing natural gas lines. It is scalable depending on demand. Wind and solar eletroysis hydrogen is not scalable and is impossible to produce if there is no sun or no wind. It will also require massive construction of hydolysis plants and infrastructure to safely pipe hydrogen over a distance. The HyGEAR unit is built in a factory on an assembly line and transported by flat bed truck for placement on the onsite location at a filling station or industrial plant using hydrogen. No cost of on site construction or lodging and feeding construction workers. It will all happen. It has to to save the planet. Diesel as a fuel for heavy duty 18 wheeler over the road trucks has to be replaced if our grandchildren will have any chance at the life we 70 year olds are now enjoying.
