Warrants
WarrantsSeveral posters have indicated the potential impact of the exercising of warrants on the current sp. I'm certainly no expert but I believe this is how it works.
Two things happen when the units are first issued. The investor gets a common share and the company gets an infusion of capital. The determination of the unit cost is based on considering current sp, future value, saleability and needs of the company. At the time of issuance the unit price was fair but a steal at today's sp. The investor in this particular instance also gets a warrant certificate to purchase shares. When these are exercised it dilutes to some degree the no. of outstanding shares and affects the sp. How it should impact the sp is determined using one of a number of possible formulae. I'm not sure how CBDT will do this but it would certainly be part of the algorithms used by a company like Morningstar to determine an accurate Fair Value sp. As mentioned earlier they have assessed this at $.63.
At the end of the day a sp can only be valued at what someone is willing to sell and buy it at. It seems highly unlikely, based on the number of sells/buys in the volumes taking place that this is still not being manipulated by those who stand to lose "big time" if this stock moves up too fast, too soon. Just my take on things so, as always, do your own due diligence.
