Could not agree more, consvestor. Nearly all gold/silver stocks down today with commodity prices getting walloped. Gold dropping $70? Makes no sense unless you acknowledge that huge investors (ie. hedge funds) run software algorithms that decide when and how much to buy/sell. Bond rate rose to 1.1% (USA), causing software correlation trades (yields rise=sell gold). Still at 1.1% yields remain negative (factor in inflation rate). Fed has repeatedly stated no intention to raise rates until 2023 at earliest. Massive and increasing debt, continued money printing ties Feds hands re: rate increase. Today's move, io, is an aberration. Personally, I dont buy all at once; this way, averaging out cost. Bought more today. Next week, who knows where gold will be but 3-12 months out, I'm good with making the bet,
