Now Wildcattter if you can sound out some of the bigger words or have someone help you you can plainly read that there is a shortage of natural gas in the country even with a slowdown in the economy. Why would these companies be afraid of supply if there was so much excess as you clearly claim. "Where would 200 mmcf/day be utilized?" Well you clown, it looks as though the petrochemical industry would love to have it. But because natural gas is in a shortage currently as you were told earlier but will not believe, prices are higher thus the inability for Methanex to get the pricing they want long term.
Low supply, higher prices are demanded. Do you understand this principle you low brow? There is more than enough information in this article for you to realize that your theory of lack of demand is absolutely BS.
If NGC was awash in gas, their prices would be lower and Methanex would be happily getting what they want.
