These LARGE PRODUCERS " ALL " have lame lines of weed products ... meaning existing product returns and investment in these lines being SCRAPPED or shelved
xpect more WRITE-OFFS and pressure on more rounds of quarterly earnings
Lisa Campbell, chief executive officer of Mercari Agency Ltd., a cannabis sales and marketing firm, said the new craft rules will help entice consumers to the legal market.
"Over the next quarter, we expect a huge power shift, which will ultimately lead to greater product diversity. Some of the bigger players in cannabis will see a huge reduction in the market share they promised to their shareholders in 2020," she said in an interview.
Thanks for the article Lou. Informative.
First off i find it odd that this lady talks about shareholders and basically relates this to SP ..It should be all about the consumers and retailers .She seems spiteful and unprofessional..
This new rule is a good thing imo . If you produce quality products that consumers want you have nothing to fear . It narrows and blocks out some of the "noise" . Too much product saturation in the market can overwhelm customers and retailers . Lets "Weed" out some of the garbage. Imo Canopy has nothing to worry about.
In addition this is what DK was trying to do since he got the job. It will help prioritize what is important and dump what is not.
IMO We have a clear advantage over our competitors due to our management teams experience . What other LP in the sector has the experience that CONSTELLATION BRANDS has dealing with this exact thing.?. Alcohol has the same standards for de-listing . If it doesnt sell the liquor stores de-list it . Nothing new for us.
