seekingalpha article on take-overAs I've mentioned, I don;t usually put much (any??) weight in any articles from Motley Fool but do in the odd one from SeekingAlpha. The main guy I like is Trapping Value and he just posted this article on the take-over.

Very interesting stuff. He is really negative on BPY with their large debt and "deeply distressed" retail. He also thinks Brookfields BPY NAV estimate of $26.80U is way too high but does think BAM will increase the offer.

Here;s his bottom line:

We believe that BPY shareholders are getting a fantastic deal and they should accept the final (probably enhanced) offer. We consider BAM shares fairly valued but either the cash or the BAM shares would be a good exchange for BPY.

He then goes on to say that the best way to play this is through BPO.PR.N wven though it's already really appreciated.

I know others on this board have mentioned the preferreds so I may consider that option instead of adding to BIP.UN.
