Update No doubt they like what they are seeing in the drill core. I'm hearing the geologists on site are saying it's the most spectacular drill core they have ever seen in their careers due to the amount of visible gold. In the videos released by Newfound Gold you can see the red tape wrapped around the drill core whereever they see visible gold when logging the core.
They send drill core to the lab on a rush basis means they are seeing visible gold and obviously the decision to double the drill program to 200 000 meters was based on what they are seeing visually because by now the geologist are getting a really good understanding of what is going on.
Take note that they will be drilling on the nearby parallel JBG fault which they say they have 3 km of prospective targets and continue drilling on the Appleton faults over 5 km. These are big fault structures and they are seeing lots of visible gold in the drill core. The Queensway project is next to the Trans Canada Highway ( actually runs through it) the power line runs across the property between the Keats and Lotto Zones, it's only a few km from existing towns and an international airport and less than a half hour drive from a sea port. It literally doesn't get any better for a mining company. When Quinton Hennigh says the Queensway property is a slam dunk the guy knows what he's talking about. He says it is a company maker with potential to discover between 5 and 10 million ounces of gold. I have no doubt that NFG will eventually end up valued at several multiples to its current valuation. Enjoy the ride.
