this us what we all have been advised that when listed the shares are qualified. My concern is that they are still not tradable after initial listing. Can tdw then take the shares after 90 days from letter date? I detest tdw ....worst discount brokerage ever. Anyone have info re above concern? I.e. if not tradeable but listed on the exchange are they still unqualified?

Laruch,
RESTRICTED SECURITIES (shares) doesn't mean NON QUALIFIED SECURITIES (for TFSA or RRSP here, in Canada) Your LVX shares will be only restricted for 4, 8, 12 and 16 months, 25 % by interval respectivelly.

All this problem is generated by the fact that LVX SECURITIES ARE NOT YET LISTED, so NON QUALIFIED. But non qualified YET. They'll become qualified after first day trading (and all of us are hoping for sooner than later).
Read one more time: "
a security meets the requirements of a qualified investment if it trades on at least one stock exchange that meets the requirements of a Designated Stock Exchange (DSE)",

Not taking the time to explain this fact,  TDW seems to be misleading, in my opinion TDW or any other brokerage house which have sent this kind of panic letter towards its customers.
