NCIB

NCIB
“ ………. With additional repurchases of 1,074,100 shares during the first week of January 2021, for $46.3 million (C$58.8 million), the Company has now achieved its goal of repurchasing 20.0 million shares over a 12 to 24-month period, which was announced in February 2020 following the completion of the Detour Gold Corporation (“Detour Gold”) acquisition……..”

It was noted in the above extract from the Press Release that over 1m shares were purchased in the first week of January 2021.  It is would have improved the 2020 Q4 EPS if these purchases could have been made a week earlier.

As KL has reached its 20m NCIB buy back allocation approved in February 2020. Would it therefore take long in order to obtain a new NCIB allocation for 2021?

Kind regards
