RE:DEFN will jump high very soon

RE:DEFN will jump high very soonI view as very encouraging that the activities of Defense Metal Corp. at their Wicheeda Rare Earth Element property in BC , have been judged to merit funding under the NRC IRAP (National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program) and that this funding will cover approximately 70% of the estimated cost of the XRT amenability study test-work, which will be conducted by the Saskatchewan Research Council. Work by SGS Canada in Lakefield, Ontario, on a bulk sample, returned a pilot plant concentrate grade of a little over 51%

At this time there appears to be a particular emphasis on the return to North America .of the rare earths industry. MP Minerals, with their Mountain Pass rare earths mine in the Mojave desert in California will, most likely, lead this movement, but skilled operations by Defense Minerals in extracting from their deposit and  processing into a high grade Rare Earth Elements(REE) concentrate will clearly be key to success.
  • Due to mine location and associated infrastructure, development Capex, is a clear advantage. I anticipate this being one strong aspect of the PEA (Preliminary Economic Assessment, which is currently targetted for release by the end of Q1, 2021
  • The Neodymium  Nd  and Praseodymiun  Pr  elements make the Wicheeda deposit very interesting to high strength permanent magnets, which are critical items in the rapidly growing EV industry and in military applications
  • Under current deposit parametrers a base case of primary base-case of potential 2 million-tonne/year throughput and 15 year mine life will be interesting to examine in the PEA with significant scope for deposit expension
Peace,
Good Decision-making to All,
