Where I'm with you is --a very high probability of Oceana receiving the FTAA because of the reasons you state. Duterte is for all intents and purposes an autocratic ruler, I don't think he would appreciate the term dictator, but it's dangerous to fight against him. Therefore if he tasked his people to renegotiate the FTAA, we can count on that being the case. The indigenous minority causing the resistance will have to be brought in somehow, the main challenge in my view. The vast majority of indigenous peoples are in favour of Oceana getting the green light---getting back to jobs and normal prosperity as before. IMO
