Opportunity cost

Opportunity costI will probably get crucified by some of you guys, but although Wares is one of the best geologists in the world, I just don’t think he has it to run a company on his own. His role wasn’t the commander in chief in Arizona and Malartic, it was Richard Warke, Sean Roosen, and Burzinski who were running the show. By adding a geologist like Wares to these guys, you ended up with a killer team. It’s the first time that Wares is in charge of everything and I don’t think his strategies and his choices of executives are the best. Everybody makes mistakes but you have to correct them over time, which is not the case here after close to 4 years. The best thing that could happen for OM is a merger with a company that has top executives. If this doesn’t happen and no changes are made, I think this stock will remain at these levels for a long time. With the current market, our opportunity cost is huge.
