RE:So what exactlyIs happening here? I feel a little bit like a broken record, but happy to help because I understand the confusion.
You are correct - you own shares in Ventura, and the
only stock ticker for our shares now is CVHIF. Canadians are restricted from trading (buying or selling) shares "on the pinks" which is where Ventura now sits. There is a workaround where, if you have a US mailing address, you can set-up an account that would be permitted to trade these.
Although it's interesting to see the swing in the price of these shares the volume is inconsequential. I have no idea why anyone would buy any number of shares over a penny or two, but it is happening, albeit in very small lots.
If you were a shareholder on the specific record dates, and London, I assume you were because I know you've been posting here for a while, then you will soon also be a shareholder of VIBE. A very rough estimate is 10:1 for VCAN:Vibe. If you owned 1000 VCAN shares you will own about 100 VIBE shares. There are older posts in here that can provide a much better explanation / formula for how to calculate the number of shares and share warrants that you will receive.
So, in short:
Yes, you own both CVHIF (which I believe you should treat as worthless) and you own VIBE.
You likely do not have your VIBE shares yet. Letters are being prepared / have been sent that will provide direction on how those shares will eventually make it into your trading accounts.
You cannot trade CVHIF - unless you set-up a US mailing address on an account. I don't think it's worth the hassle.
I hope that helps.

shows I'm up 1263.64% on the day.
do I own CVHIF or do I own VIBE?
can I trade CVHIF?
I am so confused on this...
