So farI've suggested two companies that I believe would have been excellent additions to the Quarterhill stable. One was taken out a few months later at quite a premium to it's price, and the other has almost doubled. I honestly don't know if any QTRH staff/execs follow thus Board anymore, but back in the WiLan days they some did and at one time use to even post. Hopefully they're following along, as I would strongly recommend they snag a company named UrbanImmersive. From my point of view, they should split it's tech between continuing down the road with UI as it is, but also utilize some of UI's camera photography software achievements tucked into IRD. For example, a vehicle could travel past four cameras that would take approach photos, take pass photos from each side, then receding photos, which then could be used for a 3D zoomable 360 degree examination, with inspector inserted comments, using for example, UI's UiMeet3D software. I would think there's very likely IRD tech that could also backwash into UI that could be repurposed to their focus, or a combination new offshoot (pardon the pun) focused revenue stream. So, QTRH undercover spies, fill your boots, and act. It's long overdue.
