RE:Confidential Agreement

RE:Confidential Agreementgiven that is a  victory for BB, made sweeter when the underdog beats the establishment you can expect that this was a demand from FACEBOOK's legal team. I suspect (without any inside intel) that has to be material , otherwise SUCKERBERG et all would be singing out loud about how it cost them pocket change and life is good..
Generally speaking, BB patent business plan is not to punish , just pay a licencing fee for one's intellectual property. So there has to be some recognition of lost fees going back to least when BB challenged FB and requested an agreement on this issue. NOTE this was way before BB actually started legal proceedings. FACEBOOK faught back and lost so what now???
I suspect a ONE TIME PUNITIVE/LOSS payment of fees for all that time since BB sought an initial agreement with FB.  Also, a standard licencing fee going forward..
Question now : for the accountants - if a MATERIAL one time payment is made would BB not have to recognize this some way ie step increase in cash, increae in non re occurring revenue etc (allowing some approximation of how much was received in a future quarterly statement by subtracting out all the usual  stuff??  thoughts?? dwdc
