100 years ago, a Canadian scientist discovered insulin

Sir Frederick G Banting discovered insulin to regulate blood sugar levels. Forward 100 yrs later, a Canadian company became the 1st ever company to get a T1D(type 1 diabetes) patient to become insulin injection free with their cell pouch device.
This is a great day for THAT patient and to the Sernova Transplant team.
