Will it be a 1 cent per share dividend per quarter with an extra big dividend at the end of the year (if it happens to have been a good year for them)? Or will their new dividend amount be 3 cents per share from now on, going forward?
So, It boils down to expecting to receive either 12 cents per share of dividends in a year or 6 - if you're lucky. Which will it actually be? I guess we'll have to wait another month or so to find out, when they declare the next dividend amount. The pessimist in me is expecting the latter scenario...
