What makes his fake news even worse if the fact that Albemarle is planning on doubling brine production and explore processing clay on top of it. All with no railroad.
Then there is the fact that you ship much more lithium per ton of solid LiOH, which will be produced from clay, than per ton of aqueous Li2CO3, which you get from brine, no matter how far you concentrate it. So shipping costs for lithium will be much reduced by processing clay.
The guy is FOS, that is abundantly clear from his contention that Albemarle can't be commercially viable without a railroad. It's hard to imagine anyone making such an absurd observation.
