RE:Oceana still all the rage in Didipio vicinitySo OceanaGold is still paying $$$ at Didipio? Why? OGC has no legal standing to be doing so. The company was foolishly paying non-working workers for so long. And now we learn that the company is paying for diesel fuel to pump water from a mine that isn't functioning as a mine. Again, the Duterte regime is laughing.
Speaking of Duterte, he will be gone in June, 2022. His effectiveness will be gone sooner than that-- as soon as the election is held. So if somehow OGC gets a new FTAA to operate the mine, the incoming President can cancel it. Even if there is a legal agreement, it's the Philippines, folks.
And there's a new development. Regardless of your political feelings, it's a fact that Joe Biden is owned by China. His son Hunter's computer revealed the proof, as did Hunter's former business partner, Tony Bobulinski. Hunter still has connections to one or more Chinese banks and investment entities. Because of this, China will be flexing it's muscle more than ever in the Western Pacific, and America will now do nothing to stop it. Everything's changed for Australia, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
If China wants Didipio, China gets Didipio. So stop paying $$$ for anything related to Didipio, including water pumping.
Just walk away.
