As for countries printing money, the global pandemoic has forced the G7/G20 to "print money" and that is what soverign nations do. If you follow MMT (Modern Monitary Therory) then you know that the value of all the major currencies is closely related to each countries ability to sustain economic growth compared to the USD.
Since all G7 nations are increasing the money supply including the US I doubt we will see giant swings in CAD to USD as long as the USD is still the worlds fiat currency.
I believe that the QCA share price is is climbing since the underlying US investments are climbing in value because of the change in US government. This is likely to lead to federal declasification of Cannabis as a schedule 1 drug.
Historically the end of prohibition of alcohol in the states created a huge growth period for booze, beer and wine companies. We saw this happen in Canada with cannabis. The scale of the post decriminalization boom in the US should be much larger than it was in Canada.
