RE:RE:RE:This board is now complete trash talk !Might have known it would drag the best out of you!
You are putting words in my mouth. I believe I simply suggested there are breathalyzer detectors for such things as booze and pot yet in almost a year they have not been able to develop a detector to do a similar thing for a virus that is primarily spread through the mouth and nostrils. Is that such a terrible observation or impossibility as you seem to suggest.
In the meantime they are doing all kinds of tests by sticking a swab up your nose almost far enough to touch your brain to get "nasal" samples to take 3 to 6 to 24 hours for results.
And then there are the rapid tests that could give a reasonable indication within about 15 minutes but Health Canada says that's not accurate enough so mainly we do without any.
A carehome in Delta B.C. had a single positive test a couple of weeks ago - not sure if it was a resident or a staff member. That caused them to say "Maybe we should test everybody". So they did. They came up with 51 residents and 9 staff members testing positive. What a surprise eh! You would almost think we had not had the virus start in a care home a year ago and have had thousands pass away in care homes in the meantime -- even while wearing masks.
I am aware of the Kontrol Energy system and had been out in front of that with my curiosity as to why something had not been developed seeing as we have smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors and then lo & behold along came Kontrol. Maybe you can be critical of that thought process too. Wouldn't put it past you - you are so adept at criticizing anybody and anything. Nobody is quite as good as yourself, right.
Also they are now getting closer to refining the saliva rapid testing modules so they can analyze your spit. Not your actual breath but your spit. Again, it's supposedly the act of breathing in or out that is determined to be the main cause of the spread and yes a mask does block that flow of air so it is a prevention method -- to some undetermined degree, but the fight does not stop there.
So easy to sit back and be critical and fire off all kinds of +*&%$. Must give you unending pleasure. At least you didn't throw your highlighter into action - I can thank you for that.
p.s. Just to be clear my reference to "Science" in my original note was not directed at you - it was simply referencing the world of science - in case you got the idea I was directing something at you in that blurb. p.s. #2 -- Your use of the word pathetic is just another highlight of your character as a person. A real winner - wouldn't people love to have you as a neighbour!

Telling us that the type of technology for detecting booze in your blood stream could find application for a virus in the air, so we could get rid of masks! If one could have developed it, he would have promoted it. No nned to fall into conspiracy theories.
Funny, masks are just one thing that costs very little and that are accessible to everybody now and that can prevent you to catch the virus as it is the closest to your airways. Too demanding for you, little nature? And you have no respect for the others? It's still not perfect enough for your individual rights?
The other thing that costs nothing is to keep a safe distance with others. Again, too demanding for you, little nature?
The other thing that also costs nothing is to get the free contact-tracing app that many countries have adopted and that notifies you if you've been in touch with someone that ended up testing positive while you didn't know.
Download COVID Alert: Canada’s exposure notification app - Canada.ca . You'll probably find something against it, I assume?
For the rest, while you whine about wearing a simple mask, others see their surgeries or oncology treatments postponed because of clowns like you. How would you feel if you were in their shoes, con man?
