RE:Low inventory can be a bearish signYou are either over thinking it, or under thinking it.  Not sure which. 

However, if you'd like to offer any statistical support for a positive correlation between rising commodity prices and rising inventories over a significant time frame, it would certainly up end 100 years of commodity trading wisdom.
