I've always had a negative attitude toward cannibis. I see what it has done to friends back in the day and what it has now done to friend's children. It took brilliant minds and destroyed them.

I have continued to have a bad attitude towards "medical marijuana", thinking that it was only an excuse for druggies to get marajuana accepted and legalized. 

I thought maybe I was just a prude and that considering hemp and the medical aspects of marijuana would be a step towards making peace with the drug conflict in North America. Maybe cool people like Trudeau really had a deep philisophical approach to life that I was simply missing.

This fiasco with this reporting isn't helping with my formerly held beliefs that marijuana just destroys people's minds, distorts their ability to commit to deadlines, degrades people so that they reject capitalism, deadlines, and makes them think that post-modernism makes sense over modern ideas like absolutes, putting history in context, a generally straight chronology of events, etc. etc. Simply put I used to believe that drugs and gratuitous sex reduces a man to a loaf of bread (which is in the Proverbs, by the way.)

I hope that tomorrow, the dope heads will perform and allow me to progress in my views regarding these things. Otherwise I might go to my grave in the same state with which I now identify: a modern man in a post-modern world.
