RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Toronto.com article on KontrolI have defintiely had to re-evaluate my position on this stock. Agree 100%.
I initially bought this stock, buying into the "in schools by end of Nov" and "20K units production capacity quickly". And, demand exceeding production.
Kontrol got excited. I got excited. We all got excited. Ground breaking tech during a pandemic. Gonna sell like hotcakes. No brainer. Gonna be a $20 stock by January. 20k x $12,000 we are all gonna be rich!!!
But reality has become not so much "does this work?" -- we seem to have cleared that hurdle n spades -- but that the rollout to produce it is waaay more complex, as are the needs and installation rigours and requirements and protocols that a company needs to put in place to use it. (And the re-education of investors that vaccines are not part of our concern...we are a present AND long term and future pandemic solution...don't forget what really kicked our butts on the SP....the vaccine announcement. THAT is when we plummeted and NEVER recovered.)
As well, we now know biocloud is not just a plug in and away you go, as many of us thought.
I will admit I kick myself a little for getting so polyanna at the start but now that my feet are back on the ground I have to ask myself "even though there is more to getting this out there than anticipated, is this not a groundbreaking tech? Is the possibility of it meeting my once high hopes a pie in the sky one or are they merely delayed?" "Maybe my goal should be $10 in 2021?" (And if so, that aint so bad. ;) )
At this point I am of the opinion it is merely delayed.
As I said, talk to me in March. For you its February. We all have our timelines.
Lets just hope that if/when it succeeds we are both holding and not regretting and celebrating together.
Cheers.
