Nevada Copper Corp is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in the development, operation, and exploration of its copper project (the Project) at its Pumpkin Hollow Property (the Property) in Western Nevada, United States of America. Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade Underground Mine and processing facility, which is undergoing a restart of operations, and a large-scale open pit PFS stage project. The Property is located in northwestern Nevada and consists of approximately 24,300 acres of contiguous mineral rights including approximately 10,800 acres of owned private land and leased patented claims. RE:RE:NCU at $3.85 copperSure for now the market is only paying up for the underground mine at present and not even at it's forward cash flow from 5000 tpd... that is certainly true.

Question is what price (if any at all as you point out) is the market is willing to pay for the future open pit... an open pit that is already permitted and quite well delineated:

"OPEN PIT MINE § Fully-permitted, mineral reserves of 386 Mst @ 0.50%CuEq (0.65%CuEq first 5 yrs) and 19-year mine life."

I contend that at these copper prices the open pit assets do command speculative value and that value gets amplified as copper moves up in outlook and price... particularly as this project is not subject to permitting, political and environmental risks and blocks like many other projects tend to be...Guess we will see.
