RE:RE:RE:Who Will Be Our Partner? Predictions?I go along with NEM as our partner for several reasons:
1. The proximity of NEM's Coffee Project that started permitting, but stopped because they could see a bigger project in the future. However, Dale beat them to the purchase of the Canadian Creek Project which stalled their plans somewhat and dramatically increased the value of WRN!
2. Tom Palmer (NEM CEO) would be heavily criticized if NEM allows some other entity to buy WRN from under their noses. A deal that will be profitable for many decades....
3. NEM has recently issued a $1 billion share buy-back to add to their $5 billion surplus and the addition of their 4th quarter results (pobably another $3 billion plus) --- setting them up nicely for a cash/stock purchase.
4. The last time NEM had a huge buy-back of $1 billion shares, they merged with Gold Corp --- incidently, about this same time of the year in 2019!
5. I suspect that NEM will prioritize the gold operations and maybe even partner the copper with someone like Barrick --- much like they are already doing in Nevada.
6. Perhaps one of the biggest advantages that NEM has is its #1 rating for "mine restoration" --- something that Dale is exremely interested in on behalf of the First Nation and the Yukon Territory, as well as Canada as a nation.
7. IMO, Michael Vitton and Dr. Williams have already crunched the numbers and have presented them to NEM so that a fair target price could be established that also includes the "inferred" estimates, especially for gold --- and both parties have been very quiet so as to not ruin a deal that is already on the table and very near closure.
I think we will wake up one day in the near future for some staggering news of a sale price that we have not even discussed yet on this bullboard!! I hope we all live to see it....
