When profitable and successfully able to grow in its own, a division should almost always be spun of..... As a shareholder, if this is done correctly, it will bring you and I considerably more valuation in our holdings, and it will also allow the spun company to flourish without the weight and confusion that comes with being a conglomerate..... If it can run on its own feet, let it be independent! Cheers!
