Dec / Jan occupancyAHIP has bested the US average hotel occupancy by 8-10% (average calculated by STR) since May 2020.
STR's average for 4 weeks ending in December: 36%
STR's average for 3 weeks ending in January: 39%
Again, occupancy is only one factor in hotel biz, but a decent indicator.
4th Q and full year results likely still 1.5 - 2 months away, typically in March.
