RE:Tesla and Bombardier?Bombardier ( BA ) might want to stay in its niche where it excells and leave electric cars manufacturing to the many other manufacturers who already have been in this business for quite a while.

Why would Tesla want Bombardier as a partner...because Eric Martel worked for Hydro Quebec...?

If they want to be fashionable and follow the latest trend ( anything except an hydrocarbure gas engine or turbine for propulsion ), they could ask for some grant and work on a plane prototype that would use hydrogen fuel cells to produce electricity to propulse the aircraft.

If they use other people's money I would not mind them trying this; we could be surprised.
