RE:RE:RE:RE:FOMB fiscal plan

RE:RE:RE:RE:FOMB fiscal plan

What I don't get is why it's taking so long. So FOMB doesn't like the contracts and they will allow two to go through as as. Why not approve the two solar projects already and deal with the other 14 later. I guess there is push back to say all 16 should be approved. I'm guessing the delay is the arguement of how many should be approved now. But i feel for all this wait, we could have approved the two projects, re-negotiated the contracts for the other 14, get approved by FOMB, and have started constructing already. As it now stands it seems everything keeps getting delayed because there is a disagreement on whether 2 or 16 projects should be approved. I guess the good thing is that if we win and get the 16 projects approved, there will be compensation for the wasted time.

But if this is the result is that they end up paying for the wasted time anyways, doesn't that defeat the FOMB saying the expense of the higher contracts is too high when at the end of the day, the contracts go through as is and they end up spending more because they're reimbursing the battery costs.

So FOMB was trying to save money, and in the end they end up wasting everyone's time and then end up spending more money anyways.

Honestly, I'd rather just get the 2 approved and have the other 14 contacts renogitated and quickly approved by FOMB and move on. Where were are at in a limbo of constant arguing back and forth with no clear idea of when this will be resolved. All so we can make an extra cent / kWh (or whatever). There's no indication of when this will be resolved, so who's to say this doesn't go on for    another month, few months, a year, longer?...

Nathalie, PREPA, whoever, just do whatever it takes to get the construction going. This is a long, war of attrition battling for a few cents.
