1) CANADA has purchased 38 MILLION doses of the J&J Vaccine, enough for 1 shot for EVERYONE. (Canada's population is 37.8 million people.) I applaud Canada's approach, procuring orders from multiple pharmas, not knowing who would have the best vaccines. This is a TOTAL win with the J&J Vaccine. For a complete list of Canada's purchases,

What's the differnce here and now? It's ALL about the J&J Vaccine. Canada scored an absolute bullseye here. Well done!
3) The P3 results are due next week. Typically, that means full approval the next week. There is every expectation that doses of the J&J vacccine will be going into arms the FIRST week of February.
4) Today is a nice initial move up. But this is just day ONE of what I anticipate will be a strong extended run. The market can "see the finish line" now, and it's not just hoped for. It's in plain view with fully expected timelines. This will probably represent one of the best short term upside moves the market has to offer, especially given the airline stocks have been beaten down so badly.
5) It was a post from a couple of months back I think, but I think it bears repeating that AC is coming out in GOOD shape, in a landscape that is vastly changed with MUCH less competition. Locally, the Transat deal is a good example. But all around the world, any number of AC competitors are now bankrupt, leading to less competition for AC. The list of airlines (many of them already in trouble prior to covid) that are now bankrupt is staggering. Here's an up-to date list:
