RE:RE:RE:RE:What Bothers Me About Newmont, but why need themDo you know why our market cap is under $200 million USD? It is a combination of ignorant investors who don't understand the concept of buying dollars for pennies as well as shareholders who are willing to sell their shares for a paltry sum.
If every single shareholder realized what they were holding and said, hell no I'm not parting with my shares for a dollar and change what would happen? Bid bumps to $1.50.....no shares available.....bumps to $2.50......no shares available.....and so on and so forth. If the market maker is the only game in town he will be screaming for more shares and raising the bids accordingly.
Get the market price (for starters) back to it's all time highs of $4 USD and then you'll see the momentum pushing this to newer all time highs and then we can start talking legitimate premiums over current market price that are in the dollars instead of the dimes.
I place the "blame" if you want to call it that, on all of us (myself excluded since I have done nothing but add/accumulate since taking my initial position 3 years ago) who have sold shares or decreased their net position.
Seriously, if anyone on this board whines about the share price, look in the mirror and ask yourself are you part of the problem. WRN is for investors, not day traders. Day traders are not welcome here!!!!
