RE:Uncertainty is part of the game!
Good post Pierre! I am normally an investor not a trader so selling a company I believed in (heavily) at one time for a loss hurt. I had a great 2020 where I actually did some trading since I have retirement time at home now...so selling some more SNC in December will help reduce capital gains was a good strategy. Like I said I have owned SNC for many many years (back in the SNC glory days) and slowly reduced the holding over the years with last 5000 sold this month for an obvious loss. I am frustrated no doubt...I realize we all are. Tired of the pandemic, Tired of U.S. politics, Tired of lies and BS...so I kinda let loose behind the safety of my keyboard on this forum and took it out on SNC corruption and BS...which I agree is from previous managements...but the brutal past quarters just add on...so when I see pumpers pushing exaggerated info and BS analyst old targets and news, I call it out to help unaware investors see a balanced view of a weak company. But I get the point you are making. The stock price is rock bottom for this industry..so maybe I will take a nibble at $21 or $22 and gamble...it is just that.. a gamble. To help everyone here avoid/absorb another potential bad news hit, I do want to know more about Agrafe2 RCMP investigation about the JC Bridge bribe many years ago...I have included the La Press article from Feb 2019 here hoping maybe one of our francophone friends could contact Vincent Larouche for an update on this investigation?? https://www.lapresse.ca/actualites/justice-et-faits-divers/actualites-judiciaires/201902/12/01-5214375-snc-lavalin-le-dpcp-pourrait-aussi-porter-des-accusations.php Best regards, Rookie
