RE:Investors Relations / Public RelationsTorlif,
Thanks for your note, it seems you have a good idea of PR v IR.
Where I disagree with you is in the fact that PR is very important at this point where the company wants market share and growth. You said 'i want to see a healthy balance sheet', this will come from increasing sales (then Cash, A/R, equity, etc). PR that everyone speaks of should not be confused with investors needs (though they do go hand in hand, which is what IR is a subset of PR). PR is done so the greater market knows about it's products and services, so they can then go and consume them. It's simple, PR is marketing the company to sell it's services, to grow the brand/sales, to make better looking financial statments.
I don't know that anyone would disagree with the fact that the best use of the company's marketing resources would be to get into mainstream media and market it's services, not banners on Stockhouse or paid Small cap investors inteviews to the investor community.
Gunter should completely drop all IR activity (expect news releases) and get on mainstream TV, newspaper or digital media, and that would result in better marketing for the company's products/services and better IR for the shareholders.
