Yep, Euro was at about 1.0 when the deal has been made
Actually, it"s at 1.22
(Euro = USD)

So 7.2 Billions euro = 7.84 billions USD in april
       7.2 Billions euro = 8.78 billion USD in january

So your numbers are right (if we cut 2.2 billions as the part for CDPQ)
        5 billions euro = 5.45 billions USD in april
        5 billions euro = 6.1 billion USD in january
so 650 millions USD more for the bomber, if the deal stay at those number....
