RE:RE:ANX Mentionned In CIM Magazine
Wasamac is not a great comparator. The mine needed 500 million to develop, goldboro is much less to develop and anx can fund a good portion of it through current production with some loans or only small dilution. Monatch could not fund the mine without big capital raise. Monarch was looking for partner to develop wasamac and Yamaha already owned a big chunk of monarch. Monarch shareholders were not too happy with the offer. I figure 400 million or so right now for goldboro spin off, 1 billion when they have permits and mill set up. This would be in keeping with Atlantic gold numbers, which was at a substantially lower gold price. It is also near qmx numbers per ounce. They are drilling like crazy to expand deposits lately, I wonder if it is in part to drive up any takeover offers. Big gold miners are sitting on tons of cash and we should see more M+A action. How often do you think the other board members of B2gold, sitting on 700 million in cash, talk to Kevin about anx.
